Theme Overview

We are seeking speakers for a Diversity Session on loneliness and anxiety. This open call welcomes perspectives on how connection, well-being, and resilience are shaped across cultures, generations, workplaces, and communities.

Speakers may explore personal, social, or cultural experiences of isolation, emotional difficulty, mental well-being, and the ways people build meaningful support systems.


Topics may include:

  • Understanding modern loneliness
  • Coping with anxiety in daily life
  • Building meaningful connections
  • The hidden impact of social isolation
  • Mental well-being across cultures
  • Supporting others through emotional challenges

Event Format

  • Each speaker delivers a 10-minute speech, followed by a 20+ minute discussion with all participants.
